From the Abstract to the Conclusion, every detail of the paper was well written.

Here is a really good example of a scholary research critique written by a student in EDRS 6301. The student who submitted this paper last semester earned a 100 on his critique. The content of the paper is right on track. A succint summary is provided in the first paragraph.

The title of the paper precisely stated the subject of the journal and the manner of the sequencing of the statements in the introduction leads to the objective of the study in the paper. The methods that were used in the study are valid and appropriate for the experiment the researchers carried out.

Start with an introductory phrase about the domain of the work in question. Tell which work you are going to analyze, its author, and year of publication.
